    okay here is my very first flash not very good but keep in mind i made it in 10-15 minutes and need to look up tutorials on walking here it goes

    You should make the arms and legs longer, they're so short that it's hard do see any movement.

    Use a lot more frames. Then when you come to finish it, you can have the animation at around 16 frames per second and it will appear nice and smooth.

    ok im working on a run and punch now but i cant find a good running tutorial i have the punch down

    im focusing more on the legs right now ill make one with just the body and legs then a full one i want to get the leg movement down first

    you should get rid of the "neck"
    it looks really weird

    the run is very shaky and isn't looped very well. you need to add more frames, it goes by too fast.
    also, ease both the arms and the legs
    and make the head's bobbing a little less dramatic

    You should draw every frame of the fire by hand.

    Look at how others do it and try to imitate as good as you can, if you have imageready you can download the video and import it, and then study it frame by frame.

    ImageReady is a bitmap graphic editor created by Adobe Systems, it works on MAC OS X and Windows.
